When I was 23-years-old I was ready to buy my very first classic car. Of course, I wanted a classic Porsche, but being a student at the time I couldn't afford one. So, I came across a Volkswagen 1600 TL and immediately fell in love with the design and the fact that it had some similarities to my dream car. I bought it, restored it, and it still runs perfectly. But as much as I enjoyed the VW, I always missed the power of a sportscar, so I saved up for a real one. I got myself a 1976 Porsche 911S from California in its original condition.
