Bmw Idrive - Configuration Central Information Display : Bmw How-to

Simply great design inside the new BMW iDrive with Operating System 8 offers a new user interface and touch control system on the Central Information Display. To configure the home screen, add or exchange widgets to display relevant information. Choose “Add widget” and select one from the list to add more info to your home screen.

Swipe down from the screen’s top to open the tool belt to access central system functions.
The tool belt can contain shortcuts to media sources, navigation destinations, contacts and more.
In the lower section, the tool belt displays apps suggested by the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, based on your habits and driving situation.
